  22. I was just wondering how you are able to give some many beautiful items and spools of thread away? Also, I was out at a Family Dollar today and looked for items like you tat with, Do you have any suggestions where to find them? Tonight I have realized that even though I used to be very competent on the web, I don't know anything about it anymore. I can still do my programming and tear a computer down and put it back together but the web has changed a great deal in the last 9 years.

  23. Wow! What a wonderful collection of threads. I enjoy reading thru all your ideas and inspirations. Your dollar store finds made me go thru my collection of dollar store craft items and am now figuring out how to design a tatted embellishment for them. My first attempt ever based on my own creativity.

  30. Hmm, a "new to me" tatting blog with interesting ideas (man I love that Violet Meadows thread - Gorgeous) and a giveaway? Most of those threads are also new to me so I'd love to try them. Following this blog so I can see what other great ideas you have to share.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Mm, now I'd love to win all that thread! Size 20 is bigger than I normally tat with, but I have a whole family of friends who want to learn to tat, so I'm thinking I would use it to teach them with. My favorite thing on your blog has been the interlocking rings. I still need to figure out how to do them with a shuttle. I also love your sense of color. Your pairings of thread and pearls are lovely to drool over.
