Bleh Day

Pearls & Lace
Good afternoon, dear readers!
It has been one of those days.  I absolutely HATE to go to the doctor for so many reasons.  The wait is one thing.  If I were to treat clients with such a cavalier attitude, I would never sell the first bit of work.  Patient/customer service seems to be totally absent these days.  At least on the "business office" end.  My nurse practitioner is great, though.  The office staff that get the insurance coding wrong, make mistakes and blame you for their ineptitude tick me off in a major way.  Okay, my rant is over.  For now.

After spending the majority of the day at doctor offices, I came home to find my wisteria in an absolutely gorgeous, full-bloomed state.

Even with all of the rain today, the bloom clusters were just beautiful.  This makes me want to get out my lavender thread and tat for a few hours.  Hmmm... I may do just that this evening.

Tomorrow I plan to finish culling the thread cabinets and actually get more tatting done.  Perhaps I'll have something new & pretty to show you tomorrow afternoon.  Until then~
Happy Tatting!

  1. You might have to have insurance and pat for treatment but at least you get seen, here in the UK it's a waiting game, and when they find out what's wrong they say you should have come earlier. They have been messing around with me since last September and I am no nearer getting the pain sorted than I was last September.

Lovely colour and it makes me think spring might be on its way

  2. Alas, I think Dr's offices are the same the world over. The person in charge may have a clue, but the staff think they have almighty power. It is a shame. Civility really does serve a purpose!
As rants go - yours was less than 1 on the Richter scale. And, I know it struck home for a lot of us. Hope your problem is solved and you don't have to go back for a while.
Beautiful wisteria. It is not blooming yet in TN, but we should see some in the next several weeks.
