Weekend Creations

This weekend was a productive one.  I spent most of it on my front porch, tatting away and enjoying the gorgeous weather.
Here is a peek at a couple of my newest creations:

This pendant (which is in progress in the above image) is tatted with Valdani pearl cotton.  I tatted another round and added a jumpring.  Let's hope the wind lays down later today so I can take images of the finished pendants!  It is VERY gusty out today.

Here is the Valdani Luxury Pearl Silk pendant I did:

After looking at it for a while, I went back and took the tatted accent off of the beaded bezel.  Again, I'll try to get an image up a little later this week.

As you can see, I was on a green kick.  Sometimes I just cannot help myself- certain colors really appeal to me and that's all I want to tat with for a while!

What did you, dear readers, do this weekend?  What tatting projects are you currently making?
I am working on another pendant today, but it is in a lovely bronze color.  Images of it will be forthcoming soon.

It has been a bit since I've done a special giveaway event.  According to the poll, folks would like a "goodies" giveaway.  Guess I had better go dig in the atelier and see what I come up with.  Be sure to watch the blog this week for the event announcement!  Have a great day, everyone!  Until tomorrow~
Happy Tatting!

  1. Every time I see one of your designs I like it better than the last. There two are just amazing. Great work!

  2. They're both lovely but that top one is absolutely stunning. If you know someone with an august birthday it would be a perfect " gemstone" pendant.

  3. They both look lovely, I think we all have moments of using one colour for several items.

Well what joy to sit on your porch tatting, haha. I hope you did not think I was doing the same, It never stopped raining here on Sunday and Saturday was not much better, I did a craft table as usual on Saturday, although I had a good day, my husband and I got soaked just trying to get my table things into the hall. Yesterday was dried but it's pouring with rain and will be for the rest of the day. I will be putting a post on my blog later about our so called drought and the floods.

  4. No matter what color you use, they all look beautiful. Maybe go to your least favorite color, just to get you out of the green slump. But yes, your pieces are beautiful.
