Here is the second of the button brooches:
Meet Miss "Pretty In Pink".
This brooch was tatted using the foundation pattern I posted last week and embellished with more tatting. A pin finding was adhered with E6000 to the back. Thread used is Valdani size 8 pearl cotton in M14 "Roses".
A simple foundation can easily be expanded and elaborated into many unique pieces. Let your imagination and creativity lead you to fashion your own little button brooch "fancies".
Still no beads or pearls in the mail today- bummer. I am really wanting my order to arrive so I can complete the other brooches. If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow morning, I'll just use what I have and improvise a bit.
My plans for the rest of the day are to sew a few yoyos and play with edging designs for the purse project. Have a marvelous day doing whatever makes your soul sing! Until tomorrow~
