Jim and I had a wonderful and very enjoyable weekend. With the kid at her grandparents, we were free to go on a rare "date night". After enjoying dinner & a movie, we made our list for the home improvement store and got a good night's rest. The remainder of the weekend was spent installing various organizational products in Jim's woodworking shop. Now he can get on the long list of projects I have for him!
We plan to spend the coming weekend clearing and prepping for my tatting shanty in the woods behind the house.
I did stop by Hobby Lobby Friday night and picked up a few skeins of DMC perle cotton. This is what I did this morning:
I'll finish it up today and possibly post the pattern tomorrow or later in the week.

Guess I had better take the dogs for their run through the woods. Lily Fey is spinning at the front door- her eyeballs must be floating.

I just left the Hobby Lobby, but I was looking for rings to finish a tatted necklace with for TODAY! I don't recall ever see DMC thread like that before. I better do some further checking...for sure. The thread colors are beautiful!
